Old Backups Files Not Deleting from Dropbox

I @ssgupta,

Did you try to manually delete older backups? and try to config Number of files to keep in folder option in BackWPUp -> Jobs -> your job name -> Edit -> To: tab -> File Deletion option?

I did that. It didn’t work. Keep getting newer ones and older ones don’t delete. Now my Dropbox is full. Thanks.

@ssgupta, is there anything of note in your backup logs? Any warnings, error messages, etc?

Only when Dropbox gets full. Otherwise backups are getting done per schedule setup.

Is your destination folder set, or are you storing backups in the root folder?

Indeed a destination folder is set.

@ssgupta can you tell me the archive name set under your general job settings?

@ssgupta, can you also generate a debug log of this job? Under BackWPup > Settings > Logs, set Logging Level to Debug (non translated). Then run the job again.

@ssgupta did you enable debug mode before running this job? Throughout the log you should be seeing things like Call to xxx with parameters ...
