Okay to delete malicious Wordfence and other files?
-
I have a number of malicious warnings, most are Wordfence files of some sort for example:
File appears to be malicious: wp-content/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/view.php
File appears to be malicious: wp-content/wordfence/waf/wfWAFUserIPRange.php
File appears to be malicious: wp-content/wordfence/lib/wordfenceClass.php
File appears to be malicious: wp-content/wordfence/lib/wordfenceClass.phpCan I delete this files? I have already deleted and re-installed Wordfence.
All infection files are Backdoor:PHP/eawtliul with explode: injection code.
I also get
WP Clone by WP Academy
even after deleting the plugin. Why is that?SHould I delete these files? There doesn’t seem to be any option to repair them.
Thanks for any help.
