• We tested this plugin on Litespeed Server Enterprise on 15 different websites and compared the performance to WP Rocket on the same websites. We ran 3 instances of each test to ensure accurate results.

On every website, WP Rocket outperformed Litespeed cache. On some sites it was by just a few points on GT-Metrix, while others times it was more substantial.

In every instance, WP Rocket slaughtered Litespeed Cache on TTFB, coming in 2-3x as fast in most instances.

WP Rocket beat LS Cache in LCP in 80% of instances, by an average of 0.2s.

Additionally, WP Rocket cut the page size down by 200kb on average vs LS Cache, indicating excellent file minification and optimization.

This was unexpected, obviously. Given we’re running on a server optimized for this plugin, it was a surprise to see WP Rocket perform so well.

  • Well, I had the opposite experience. Paid WP ROcket up to 2024 and ditching for LS cache plugin + LiteSpeed server Enterprise. A pity on wasted money for years they won’t refund, but rather the better speed!
Tested on a site with Elementor page builder and never saw it load so fast as with LS.

QUIC also does free WebP image conversion to make pages load faster and saves me lots of $ [dep on how many images per month you need converting, but even with prepaid credits it is far cheaper than other options].
