A lot of folks try and avoid nav schemes driven by javascript.

The nav scheme uses a small Javascript function to make up for IE’s “issues” with hover. It can be done completely in CSS for Mozilla, Netscape etc.

The xhtml parsing error was a fat-fingered-typo on a

• end tag!
  The weather is generated from a free weather.com webservices interface which is parsed with php.

I would just add a tiny bit of padding to the <div id="announce"> and <div class="post"> and maybe change the color of the posts titles, just my personal opinion though ??
