OK – but add-ons expensive

  • Annoying to pay for a so-called ‘premium’ product and then find various extras are required to perform a full migration e.g zoo items, all videos and user groups.

    I understand we are all in business to make money, but it’s overpriced when you factor in the extras.

    I am capable of using PHP MyAdmin and writing a script to migrate but hoped this would save me time and hassle. Out of principal, I will manually migrate the reminder rather than buying addons that should be included.

    Gravity Forms is a good example of how it should work. Pay the premium and get ALL addons. Much fairer policy.

    For information, Gravity Forms has no free version and is $259 for unlimited sites and with all the add-ons. We have a free version that is enough for a lot of users. Our plugins are also for unlimited sites and are much cheaper than GF, even if you take many add-ons.
    We try to make a fair price depending on the features needed by the users : the user who needs only a few features will pay less than the user who needs many features.

    I dont agree. ￡99 i pay Gravity for everything and whilst it is a totally different thing, is much more capable and complex. I paid ￡39 for something which does no more than the free version. Total waste of money! I have ended up wiping the db and starting again as this program did a terrible job of migrating. I would not recommend it to anyone.
