Or maybe not Hard to tell for a newbie. ??
Thing is I installed my site last week but was immediately put off by all the problems with the webhotel.
So I switched webhotels, and I redirected my domain name.
And I uninstalled my site from the first webhotel.

Then when the redirection of the domain name was complete I just installed wordpress again on my new webhotel… When I go to my site I get the message that: “To change this page, upload your website into the public_html directory Date Created: Wed Aug 20 21:23:18 2008” (that date was when I installed wordpress at my previous webhotel)
Oupps…I did not save any files in my first webhotel since none of the providers told me I had to. But I interpret the above message that I need to somehow install something to get things working again (my browser won′t find mysite.se/wpadmin). But since I have nothing left in any database to install I guess I need to fully delete my wordpress installation and start anew?

    Or..what to do?!

  • Sounds like your redirect is not working (IE your domain is still pointing to the old web host)

It was my new hosts html index file that was not fully deleted after I had unsuccesfully tried to install wordpress. ??
