Oh…noes. Potential giant problem after switching webhotel.
-
Or maybe not Hard to tell for a newbie. ??
Thing is I installed my site last week but was immediately put off by all the problems with the webhotel.
So I switched webhotels, and I redirected my domain name.
And I uninstalled my site from the first webhotel. Then when the redirection of the domain name was complete I just installed wordpress again on my new webhotel… When I go to my site I get the message that: “To change this page, upload your website into the public_html directory Date Created: Wed Aug 20 21:23:18 2008” (that date was when I installed wordpress at my previous webhotel)
Oupps…I did not save any files in my first webhotel since none of the providers told me I had to. But I interpret the above message that I need to somehow install something to get things working again (my browser won′t find mysite.se/wpadmin). But since I have nothing left in any database to install I guess I need to fully delete my wordpress installation and start anew?Or..what to do?!
