Oh, no, network broken!!!!

  • after i took the suggest to change DB_CHARSET to utf8_general_ci

    my network broken…. what had happened to my website?

    and i can’t add any site to multi network … omg….

    Probably you had to change the collation only and leave the character set alone. What were your original character set and collation?

    Or maybe the two problems are unrelated. What happens if you restore the original character set?

    I tried restore to the original set. still have the problem of updating network. i can’t create any sub site any more.

    fortunately, i had a backup of my whole site and sql … i went to the a version 2 weeks ago… and i had to make all the changes that i had made in last two weeks.. ;<

    crying… maybe you should add a warning about this for other users… ; )

    Yes, you are right. For other users seeing this thread, please make sure you have a recent database backup before trying new settings!
