• resolved! – i really like this plugin, but honestly: add that important notice about kc_human TO THE TOP of your description!

I only inserted cf7ic in one form, and didnt wantet the other forms to be touched! guess what? none of the other forms worked and without seeing and knowing of that nessessary addition about kc_human I didnt check all other forms. OK maby it was my fault, but this plugin should make it easy and not a BAD IDEA !

  • Hello, I am so sorry for the inconvenience, I did include that information in the instructions.

Seeing that the plugin works and that the information you mentioned is in the instructions, is there a way for this review to be changed? I am very active in working with plugin users to make this plugin work, please give me a chance before dropping a 1 star review.

    Thank you.

@arcticblue I don’t mind bad reviews, so long as they are justified, a 1 star review is hardly justified in this case, its maybe 3 stars at the least.

As I stated above, the issue you had was addressed in the short set of instructions which you admittedly didn’t read.

I understand you were upset when you wrote the review, but I ask that you please adjust the rating to be more accurate to the issue at hand.

For my part, I will update the instructions to be more clear for the future.
    Thank you.

This has been resolved as of version 3.1.0

    Hey Kyle,

as of version 3.1.0 do I understand it right, that a fresh install would not block all other fc7 forms? I understand it the way, that I would need the human shortcode only if the cf7 conditions forms plugin is installed too. is that right?

    Yes correct.

With this update you only need to add [cf7ic] shortcode to the forms you want the CAPTCHA on. Forms without cf7ic will work UNLESS you have contact form 7 conditional fields installed in which case you need to add the hidden field to forms without the [cf7ic] shortcode.

Basically if you do NOT have contact form 7 conditional fields installed then the CAPTCHA works as you would expect it to, just put the [cf7ic] shortcode on the forms you want the CAPTCHA.
