• I have no idea if I need an ultra-fast broad band connection, a brand new lap top or a website host that is the fastest and most expensive in the world, but my goodness how I have struggled to use ELEMENTOR. Really I have.
It definitely isn’t WYSIWYG, I can make changes in the editor that don’t show up on the page. I can’t make changes in the live page. The font size only changes if I do it through the code….. Yes I am using a totally compatible theme, in fact it is the one Elementor suggested! So I am just tearing my hair out. Don’t get me started on the huge gaps which appear when I press enter – CTRL Enter, or Enter just puts in a 2cm gap, not just starting a new line below.
The whole experience is quite frustrating, and now I have started using this Elementor thing, i guess I either have to a) delete the entire website and start again using the basic but good Gutenberg editor, or b) pay to go pro? The cynic in me wonders if the total lack of functionality of the free version is to make you pay for the “PRO” version…. Not happy.

  • Hey @nicprussik, I am not from the support team but I am an active user of Elementor. The issues you have mentioned may have various reasons. First you can please check the following thing:

    1) Try using a blank WordPress theme. e.g., “Hello”.
    2) Try to disable other plugins.
    3) Make sure your server don’t have any cache. If yes, make sure you clean the cache after making any changes. You can try to deactivate the cache for the moment as well.
    4) Make sure you have configures the domain name correctly and website have sufficient memory size.

Regarding the font issue, please make sure when you copy the text from other sources, its formatting is clear. You can use clear formatting option available in the visual editor.

I hope using these methods, you can able to check and find the route cause of the issue. If not, you can share the system information so the support team can assist you for the same.
