og:title will not update even after clearing cache

    Hi! Thanks again for an awesome plugin – it’s great!

    I’ve had a periodic/intermittent issue with updates of og properties. In this case og:title though on other websites at random sometimes description or image will not update. there is no pattern to it, it normally works but occasionally not.

    On this page: https://eatthistours.com/tour/real-family-rtveli-2023-wine-harvest-tours/

    I updated in Yoast, then used FB debugger to scrape the page and no change. The og:title should be “REAL Family Rtveli 2023 Wine Harvest Tour – 1 & 2 Day” but currently its still showing the old title after running debugger.

    I already tried:

    • Making the yoast title blank, saving, clearing cache on-site and on the server and cloudflare, then re-entering the new title and clearing all cache again before running debugger.

    Any ideas?

    Is there a way to force yoast to use meta title instead of og:title to be placed as the og:title? Or to just disbale all social metadata from a specific page/post? Or any other option to flush og:data from a page? or renew for the whole site or something?

    This implies you have different SEO title and og:title. Can you share screenshots of what you have entered in the SEO title field and Facebook title field in the Yoast SEO meta box?

    You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

    Hi! Thanks so much for the response. Turns out it was a cookies+theme issue, I was updating the social meta, but after saving the changes were not actually saving. Opened the editor in a clean browser, made changes and saves then actually saved! Very annoying. Thanks again!
