og:image/twitter:image are missing

  • The plugin does exactly what I want. There is just one thing missing. It does not show the og:image with the featured image and the twitter:image is empty. A featured image is specified because it is shown in the hero section of the post and slimSEO shows the og:image:alt in the header meta. I did not yet specify an image in the slimSEO settings because all pages and posts contain a featured image.

    What did I miss?

    After some testing, I figured out that it works if I save the posts/pages again and clear the cache afterward. However, this is a tedious job for all posts. I moved from RankMath to Slim SEO and I imported all the settings which worked for all other fields except images. How can I fix that?
