og:image is the favicon in a lot of pages

I can only guess, and I’m not good enough at it.

The question is how OG plugin picks an image for og:image?

1. It try to use featured image from a entry.
2. It yty to find image in an entry content.
3. It gets site icon.

Could you check or set up featured image for an entry?

Setting the featured image does not change the og:image.

This page https://blossombirth.gr/pretoimasia-lamaze-gennw-me-empistosini/
has a featured image but the og:image is the favicon.

In documentation it says that:
g:image: From a specific custom field of the post/page, or if not set from the post/page featured/thumbnail image, or if it doesn’t exist from the first image in the post content, or if it doesn’t exist from the first image on the post media gallery, or if it doesn’t exist from the default image defined in the options menu.

In my case, both pages have an image in their content, and one of the pages has a featured image.

You are right, but this is strange, because when I first set the featured image the og:image was still the favicon.
I just did it again in another page and og:image is still the favicon.

Does it take a while for the og:image to get updated? I am not talking about the facebook debugger but about the page source code.

No, it is immediate, when you change the feature image.

Except for cache…

Do you use any cache plugins?
Maybe some server solution for caching?
