og:description VS meta name=description
-
WordPress version:3.5.1
WordPress SEO version:1.4.7I set custom Meta Description, FB Description and different G+ Description on single posts;
I also set default description on Social setting page.I expected the plugin to output:
1)meta name=’description’ content=’custom post desc.’
2)meta property=’og:description’ content=’FB custom post desc.’
3)itemprop=”description” … ‘G+ custom desc.’Instead it did this:
1)meta name=”description” content=”default post desc.”
2)meta property=’og:description’ content=’FB custom post desc.’
3)NO ITEMPROP description with ‘G+ custom desc’ inside.Does ‘meta name=description’ override ‘og:description’?
Why no ‘G+ custom desc’??
If I try to share it on G+ no description appears.This is the url: https://goo.gl/rNWHE
THANKS to all!
