OG Image not being set

    Hi there,

    I have been trying (desperately) to set the OG image for the thumbnail when sharing on social media, as the site is currently using the image for the last posted image, but with no success.

    I have added an image on the Yoast SEO plugin and set the description and title (which was successful) but the image refuses to be taken and used.

    Any help would be hugely appreciated??

    Unfortunately, I have no help to offer, but I wanted to say that I am having the exact same problem on my site (https://www.thewildwest3.com). I’ve activated and deactivated tons of plugins and determined that it’s definitely Yoast. With someone else’s help, I was able to manually set an og: image tag, and get it sharing properly, but as soon as I reactivate the Yoast plugin, this problem recurs. For me, isn’t a conflict with another plugin, because I deactivated pretty much EVERYTHING.

    This problem cropped up sporadically about a week ago (it was working fine before).

    Was yours working successfully before as well?

    Hi Charissa,

    This is the first website that I have created and have found this issue with, also conveniently this is my first time using Yoast.

    I am not sure how to fix it, but I am glad that it is not just myself that is experiencing that.

    Please let me know if you come across anything that fixes it.
