    Hello QSM support team

I use QSM for my students to take tests during their studies

When my students submitted their tests, they received the error “nonce validation failed” message shown in the image https://prnt.sc/G0_Tq-F5Wj5o

My student encountered this error 2 months ago and I got your support by disabling the caching plugin, I removed all the caching plugins on my site and directed instructing my students to press “ctrl shift R” to clear the browser cache before taking the test, but today this error still recurs.

My students took the exam for a long time and eventually failed to submit it, which affected their learning process.

I want to know the cause of this error and hope you can suggest a solution for me to completely solve this error. For example, if students take the test incognito, it can be completely solved. Is this error or not? Please let me know any way that can be resolved because this is very important, it affects my training process a lot, thank you sincerely from the team, I will leave the information on the page for you all to know. check, because it is an internal website, you will need an account, I will leave the information, don’t worry about security issues, this is just a testing account and does not have any permissions, please help me fix it as soon as possible. This error is to help my students have a better learning experience

    Version I am using: 8.2.2

While waiting for you, I have 2 questions:

    1. If I take the test in an anonymous browser, will I get this error?
    2. If I remove the wordpress nonce, will this error still exist?

    Hi @nguyenkimhau,

I appreciate your patience as we work on resolving the issue. Here’s some information on your questions:

    1. Taking the Test in an Anonymous Browser: If you take the test in an anonymous browser, you may still encounter the error if the nonce on the webpage does not match the nonce check on the server. This discrepancy can occur due to the security measures in place.
    2. Removing the WordPress Nonce: Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with removing the WordPress Nonce. The nonce is an essential security feature designed to protect your site from potential threats and unauthorized actions.

I hope this answers your questions. We are actively working on the main issue and will update you as soon as we have more information. Please let me know if there’s anything else you need in the meantime.

    Best regards,
    Sadiya

Thank you for the support information, I will wait for your feedback on the exact cause and how to fix this error. Regarding the question of removing the wordpress nonce, I mean I will remove the nonce authenticator on my own website, I don’t have a solution yet but will ask a technician for support. I just want to know if this solution can completely eliminate the above error.

    Hello @nguyenkimhau ,

    Thank you for your patience

We attempted to submit the quiz and reviewed the code structure, and everything seems to be functioning correctly on our end. We couldn’t identify any issues with the quiz submission. Could you please check if there are any caching plugins active on your site that might be affecting the quiz behavior?

Regarding your query about removing the WordPress nonce, it is possible to remove it if you are familiar with the process. However, we cannot assist with such modifications as they fall outside the scope of our support.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. We’re here to support you in any way we can.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,
    Sadiya

I updated to version 9, and have not seen this error since that day. What should I do if this error continues to occur? If I manually delete the nonce in WordPress, will this error completely go away? Please let me know the solution if this error continues, thank you very much
