Hi there

This would largely be dependent on how the discount has been added to your site. Are you using a coupon code to add in the discount? If so, you may be experiencing the bug that has been reported here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-paypal-express-checkout/issues/335

If not, we’d need more info on how the discount is being applied to understand the root cause of the issue.

Please review the bug report above and advise if you are seeing the same issue, if so, you can track the repo for info on the resolution. If not, please provide more details regarding your set up so we can better assist.

Hi there,

Thanks for the status report. Nothing stands out as a potential issue here but this issue isn’t present on a clean install of just WooCommerce and PayPal Checkout as the offset issue we’ve seen is only with coupons and other non-sale priced discounts.

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme, custom code, or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
• Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

So, any way it can be solved?
Experiencing the same issue.
Using Storefront theme already.
The invoice generated on the website is OK.
The email sent to the buyer by Woocommerce is OK.
The order in Woocommerce dashboard looks fine
But the email from Paypal shows this issue.

Woocommerce >> Settings >> Payment >> Subtotal Mismatch Behavior
Choose: Do not send line items to Paypal
