The speed and time to offload images depend upon the number of images you have on your server. So, if as you mentioned that you have 10k images then it sure will take a lot of time. But don’t worry this only applies to existing images. Once you have turned on the Offload feature then the newly uploaded images will be offloaded directly to the Cloud as you upload them to your WordPress media library.
Also, You may see some errors but those errors appear because of the server load of your site and it works again as the server recovers. If you encounter the “unexpected error” message it is safe to refresh the page and start the rollback because it keeps track of where it left.
By the way, just so you’re aware, there is no need to offload images to Optimole unless you want to save your disk space in your hosting server, Optimole works the same way with images offloaded to the cloud or not, they are still served from the cloud and optimized so cloud library and the purpose of it is to save disk storage (images are removed from your server).
