official GA4 support

now that there finally is an official document regarding AMP supporting GA4: https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/amp-analytics?hl=en I wanted to ask if there is a way to use this method with the current version of the plugin (we made some test but it did not work) or if the plugin needs to be updated. If it needs to be updated could you please give an estimate to when this will be? Thanks a lot!

Thank you for contacting us, yes you can use the GA4 with the current version of plugin.
the
googleanalyticstype is now being deprecated and you have to use thegtagas the type along with the GA4 id. You can learn more about in our updated documentationeg:
