    Hello –

    We had a client set up with this plugin using the “Other” connection settings and had added all of the proper information to use Office365 SMTP. This all worked fine until we just updated the plugin to the latest version, now it is just saying that either the Username or Password is incorrect, which doesn’t make sense because nothing had changed with the account.

    Any idea why this would all-of-a-sudden stop working and produce such an error?

    Please share a full error log recorded when you send a test email from WP Mail SMTP > Email Test? Here’s a screenshot for the option to get a full error log.

    Please note that you’ll need an App password instead of your regular account password if you have two-factor authentication enabled within your account. Another possible issue is you have SMTP Authentication disabled within your account settings.
