    Hi,

I receive a connection refused error when sending testmail.

    These are my settings:
    SMTP
    SMTP.office365.com
    Starttls (also tried smtps)
Login Auth (tried all of them actually)
    And I tried different ports 25, 465 and 587.

I also checked the mail app settings in office 365 and the authentication for smtp is checked. The message email is same as the office365 mail.

Also checked the forum topics about this but looks like settings are all set.
Cant seem to figure it out.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @hithunters,

Did you follow my guide here carefully? It provides a lot of useful information.

    Can you confirm:

    • You are sending from the exact email address of the 365 account?
    • You do not have two-factor/multifactor authentication enabled for the account?
    • The account exists as a full user in 365, not a shared mailbox or alias?
    • Hope this helps.

      Kind Regards,
      Tim

    Hi Tim,

Thanks for the rapid response. Yes i have read your post and tried that multiple times. But it seems to just not work.

    1.Yes
    2.No
    3. Full user

It seems when Postman is mimicking the mailserver it does send mails and they get delivered. But i want to keep it tidy and make sure it always works with office 365

    Thanks for helping me out.

    Kr.

@tneville I will do this coming monday as the restaurant is selling delivery packages through the contactform. As Postman Smtp mimicks the mailserver the mail gets delivered.
So i will set it back up on office 365 on monday and run diagnostics. When orders don’t come in. It’s friday and today most orders wil be done so i wont be trying anything which can make people get an error.

@yehudah thanks but your Link doesn’t work :-).

Hi @hithunters – that sounds sensible, no problem with that. Just update us as and when you are ready. ??

@resnikov / @hithunters – with regards to the link, we have temporarily pulled the extension due to some issues with one of our providers. We hope to have this available again very soon.

@resnikov – please feel free to create a new thread about your issue on this forum and I will reply as soon as possible.

    Thanks both!

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

    Hi @hithunters @resnikov,

The extension plugin is now available again, for free, at the following link:

Please let us know how you get on.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi @hithunters,

I think there has been an update version of the extension released since, 1.2. Please check you have that version?

    Hi @tneville

    Sorry to bother again.
I get this error trying to grant the office permission. I followed every step of the extension and it gives this error: AADSTS50011: The reply URL specified in the request does not match the reply URLs configured for the application:

    Hi @hithunters,

No problem – please check the redirect URI in your Azure app.

    Kind Regards,

Hi tim, what should i be fixing in there? Cause it’s the correct url…

    Hi @hithunters,

Can you paste it here? Check the URL ends with a trailing slash.

    Kind Regards,
    Tim

Hi Tim, so i see there is one step not mentioned in the extension tutorial. It is that you have to make sure there is an API made available. With an application id. Then i tried again and it worked.

So its in dutch on my pc so i cant show it properly. But if you go to app registrations you can see two columns. One with: name, application id, map id and object id. Behind that on the right side you have: Support accounttype (translated :-P), Redirect URl’s and then the next one is the one which was blank with me. I had to add a URL for the application id.

After that was done (standard pre filled.value for the added api) it all worked. Thanks for your support guys! I am going to donate now ??
