    Hello vallesierra7,

I hope you are doing well.

I have just checked on my end, and on the EA Woo Product Grid layout grid, style preset: default shows the sale badge; see the screencast here: https://d.pr/v/ad9yPP

Can you please share your screen recording with the page URL?

    Thank you.

    Hi @vallesierra7,

We’ve discussed this with our development team, and they’ve confirmed that the “default” layout is intentionally designed not to alter the original badge behavior. This means the option to customize the sale/stock-out badge text shouldn’t be available in the “default” layout because it wouldn’t align with its intended functionality.

To address this and avoid confusion, we’re implementing a fix that will hide the custom label option whenever you select the “default” layout. While the “default” layout won’t have customizable badges, you can still utilize other layouts where the custom badge text option is available.

We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

    Thank you!

    Hi again

I am writing to update you regarding the bug that was found on the EA Woo Product Grid. Our development team has been working on fixing the issue, and I am pleased to inform you that the problem has been resolved in the dev version of the plugin. Now, the option to customize the sale/stock-out badge text will not be available in the “default” layout.

Here is the dev version: https://d.pr/f/5WYhNM

However, please note that the version we are sharing with you is a development version, which may not be stable and could potentially have other issues. We recommend that you test this version thoroughly before using it on your live website.

Therefore, if you are willing to wait for the released version, we advise you to do so to ensure the best possible user experience on your website.

Once you have installed and tested the development version of the plugin, please let us know if you encounter any further issues. Our team will be happy to assist you in any way we can.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we worked to resolve this issue. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns.

For my site I have to use EA Woo Product Grid layout grid, preset style: default, it’s a shame that you couldn’t edit the color and text of the Deals and Out of Stock badges.

    Hi @vallesierra7

I’d like to provide some clarification regarding the default layout’s design intention. The “default” layout was intentionally designed without the option to customize sale/stock-out badges to maintain simplicity and consistency in the user experience. This design choice ensures that the default layout offers a clean and predictable design, aligning with its intended functionality.

However, I completely understand your desire to customize badge options for your products. To address this, I suggest exploring alternative layouts within the Essential Addons Woo Product Grid widget that do support customizable badges. These alternative layouts offer flexibility in customization while still providing the functionality and integrity you’re looking for.

Maintaining consistency across layouts is essential for establishing a cohesive brand identity and enhancing user engagement. By exploring alternative layouts, we can ensure that your website maintains consistency while also meeting your customization needs.

I’m more than happy to assist you in exploring these alternative layouts, customizing badge options, or implementing any other design modifications you may require. Please feel free to reach out to discuss further and explore the best solution for your website.

    Thank You
