# of posts appears on “All posts” page, but none are visible in the list or home

  • On a not-so-active site, when I recently visited it, all the posts were missing, and the home page said:

    Nothing Found
    Ready to publish your first post? Get started here.

    When I logged in and visited the Posts page, I can see a list of the number of posts, but no posts appear in the list of posts. Here is an image of the page:

    I have updated all my plugins and themes, and installed the latest version of WordPress. I also tried changing the Permalinks, then changing them back (I have hid this work on other sites), but I still see the same results.

    – Please check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message and see why it’s failing. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.
    – If you cannot find error logs or if you don’t find any helpful info in the error logs, try Enabling debugging
