Oembed video

Hi everybody
I am looking for information about embed video from wordpress.

I would like to have an archive of my videos.

When I use embed (from a custom post type custom fields) for a page, it works. But when I try to create my archive page (the idea is to have preview videos, and the permalink this preview to go to the dedicated page) I can not find a solution.

With embed, is it possible to have only the preview?
wp_oembed_get only have height and width as arguments?
