Oembed Content Card Duplicate Code

Nice and useful plugin! Thanks.

One card is created with oembed and the other one is using the shortcode. Notice one has more white space after the description. It’s the one with oembed, it adds a link with no text just below the right description, in my case it’s :

<p><a href=”https://staging.stockchase.com/expert/view/48/John-Zechner”&gt; </a&gt;
</p>

Why is that? How can fix this? I’d prefer using oembed vs the shortcode but this empty space bothers me and I can’t figure out how to remove it.
