Odd symbols in my blog text

  • My blog posts are sometimes showing odd symbols in place of certain characters within my blog posts. The symbols look like black diamonds (points toward the four sides of the screen) with a white question mark inside the the black diamond. These odd symbols appear in place of long dashes (em-dash or en-dash)and apostrophes. What is worse, sometimes I go to see a blog post and the same page that had these symbols before looks just fine.
