• Hi.
Like other people have pointed out, Caldera Forms seems to be impacting site performance dramatically lately.

My site has become almost unusable over the past 3 weeks, prompting me to do some digging. See linked a screenshot of what the Query Monitor plugin found. It appears that CF runs 19 queries on every single page load, regardless of whether the pages have any relation to CF or not.

Any idea why Caldera runs form queries from the database even when all I am doing is load the top level main WP admin panel or pages, such as the site’s Users page? Odd behaviour, don’t you think?

What’s more, most of the CF forms I have in the DB are inactive (I’d hoped that making them inactive would reduce load, but apparently not). – I should point out that none of the forms are publicly accessible and I’m the only user on my dev site, so these queries aren’t being run because some other user is busy filling in forms!

If this issue doesn’t get fixed soon then I’ll have no choice but to abandon CF. It would be a huge pity because I rather like the features, but features are only great if I have a site that’s actually able to load.
