Odd problem

  • Okay, I got WordPress to install and it seems to be working fine, except for this odd problem: I can make either a post or a page, and it goes to the main page just fine. But if I click on the link either to the full post or to a page, I get a “not found” error. The front page of my blog is at

    https://www.michigancitizensforscience.org/wp/.

    You can see the first post there. But if you click on the title to the post, you see:

    The requested URL /wp/2006/06/06/hello-world/ was not found on this server.

    Any idea how to fix this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

  • Hi

    Have you setup your permalinks properly ?

    And make sure that WordPress can write to your .htaccess file or it will not be able to set up the permalink redirection.

    If you check .htaccess it should have a section written by wordpress now.
