@steve@316: I’m getting the same issue. Did you manage to solve the problem? The website you provided (I’m assuming it’s using the Events Plugin) doesn’t show the extra characters.

Yes I was able to fix the problem by just simply updating, changing some settings.

Settings/Events “Options for the sidebar and widget” & “Options for the page lists”. Hope that helps.

Go to Settings/Events “Options for the sidebar and widget” & “Options for the page lists”, make any change, even change it back to what you originally had, then save changes. Hope that helps.

While the % & is gone and the start date shows, the end dates for my events are gone! That’s not good.

I’ve checked: Show the end date even if its the same as the start date”.

Any other ideas of what I should try?

I have tried everything stated in this thread but can only make it work in Firefox. It still puts in crazy characters in Chrome and Explorer. Any other suggestions??

@gdscomp, I suspect your browser cache is showing you the old version of the page. Chrome’s cache in particular is kinda flaky. Clear your browser cache (and maybe restart the browser) and try viewing the page again.
