Odd issues and lost confidence.

  • Been using this plugin for a long time on various sites (and I think it has been fine). However, on a new site, noted some major issues where pages were redirected to the main home page – in error. Cleared slugs, permalinks and rebuilt a few times but no change.

    Something was causing crash of the website, pages and posts not working correctly – clearing cache and forcing page refreshes made no difference. Hours went by to check every plugin and trying to debug.

    After investigating I disabled the cache plugin and all worked perfectly. May never know the real reason for the problems but at least all is OK now.
