Odd issue between 1100 and 1050 pixels wide

I am using 3.7.1 WordPress – Gen 2 + Club Lite 1.2. Love the ease of disabling the text title and overriding it with real, clickable logo.
I am experiencing an odd issue between 1115 pixels and 1008 pixels wide. The 500×150 logo gets resized to roughly 50% of original size (250×75). If I right click and save the URL of the 250×75 image, it is actually the original 500×150 image, just resized.
Is this a known glitch or is something in my theme conflicting here?
