I use a Mac (OSX 10.4.10) and Safari and Firefox. So I have not seen this problem personally until recently but some of my readers told me that the text on my main page slides off to the left not far from the top. I have no idea what is causing it and since I can’t even see it unless I go a friend’s Windows system, it’s extremely difficult to troubleshoot.

I’m using the Fjords07 1.0 by Peter Andre Jensen with WP 2.2.

Anyone here with any insight as to what I could do to address please drop me a line or post here? Thanks very much.

WP rocks and I’ve always had great help in this forum, so thanks, in advance to anyone nice enough to respond.

  • It looks perfectly fine on my Firefox in Windows.

I agree. It works perfectly fine in both of my browsers but on some windows machines, in IE, it slides. I hate to ignore that group of people just because they’re using a bad browser, or is it something wrong with my theme or formatting?

    Thanks for looking.

it’s an ie6 problem, and if you watch your server logs — bad browser or not, a LOT of people use it.

You have 302 validation errors. Most of those are caused by the ads, however some of them are structural.

    Your CSS also contains errors.

Can anyone make some specific suggestions on how I can fix these errors?

Check this out, and concentrate on the errors caused by ul, ol, li and a for now. Once you have eliminated these, we can continue troubleshooting :).

    Btw, I don’t see a thing wrong in Win/IE6.
