Odd Behavior from Elements Embedded with Shortcodes

I’ve placed a WP Forms form into one of my menu areas using a shortcode, and it both looks and works great when that menu tab is active.

Problem is it also appears when that menu tab ISN’T active, i.e. it persists on all pages at all times.

The same thing is happening with a Facebook element that’s similarly placed by shortcode.

Does Max Mega Menu support inclusion of shortcodes? If so can you help me figure out what’s going on?
