OceanWP Ocean Extra and WP Activity Log conflict

  • Each time I enable WP Activity Log plugin whilst using OceanWP’s Ocean Extra plugin, I am unable to load the theme ‘customise’ screen under ‘appearances’ tab.

    I get this error:-

    Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 146063360) (tried to allocate 3457024 bytes) in /home/sites/selectasofa.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4669

    Wordpress is version 5.5.1 and OceanWP is v1.9.0, WP Audit log is v4.1.4, Ocean Extra is v1.6.6.

    If you are using the child theme, please switch to the parent theme and check.
    Please share the PHP version and WordPress memory limit also.

    I think it was my .htaccess file needed updating. I copied the content from a working version with same plugin configuration and set up and it seems to be fine.

    I also added this extra line to the .htaccess file.
