• Hi all,

I have just noticed that my footer is not displaying the text in colour. It appears that the text is the same colour as the background of the footer, even though it isn’t. I have checked the footer and tried testing other colours but the result is the same – other than the hyperlink, the text colour stays hidden unless you highlight the footer, so isn’t working correctly.

I only just noticed this, after the recent wordpress, oceanwp and elementor updates.

The footer was made in elementor, and appears as it should in the elementor editor, with correct text colour.

I have cleared/purged all caches as well and tried three different browers and two devices – the problem exists on all.

    Thanks for the help!

I have gone in and re-edited the page, changed and rechanged the colour. I then purged all caches again and it seems to have worked.

Are there any suggestions as to what may have caused this so I can try to avoid it in future?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Glad to hear that issue has been fixed.
Some time changes not reflecting due to the cache. So, I would suggest you use any cache plugin, better with the auto functions.

    Hello

The same issue has returned again. I have noticed the footer is not displaying.

    All caches have been purged.

I have gone back in via Elementor to edit the footer file that OceanWP uses, changed the colours manually, saved, which worked, and then did the reverse to change them back.

Has anyone ideas of this may be some sort of update or confict between Elementor and/or Oceanwp?
