Hi, I seem to have trouble using elementor to create my home page, no shop pag etc, just the home page. But when I try opening the Home page with Elementor, it gives me “The preview could not be loaded” error and Go Back button. I seem to be getting this error frequently when trying to create different pages. I have tried deactivating non-essential plugins, even rolled back on the theme and the essential plugins like woocommerce and elementor. Nothing worked. I dont have that issue when using another theme. Can you please help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi – when I disable the Jetpack plug-in the images do return! So, next question, is there a fix for keeping Jetpack and the images?

@knowlij thanks for the info. It seems to be the plug-in, so I’ll start with that. ??

Try to disable the jetpack image related feature such as Lazy load to fix this issue.

Thank you – that did the trick!

Hi. Not sure if this is the best way to reach you oceanwp, but I have much the same problem – I installed and activated Ocean Extra, found the theme my client wanted, activated all the plugins, checked the boxes to download all the themes widgets and xml and as the theme is being installed, a message appears saying “there was a problem downloading the XML, contact support.” Are you still supporting these errors?

@lhunt04 try to follow the below steps and check it fixes the issue or not. Can you please tell me which demo do you want to import?

    1. Update PHP version if it is not PHP7
    2. Increase the memory limit to 512M or higher – https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/56-increasing-memory-limit-to-php
    3. Update all the plugins and theme to the latest version
    4. Disable cache/security/performance plugin temporarily and check it works or not

I’m having serious trouble with elementor. I use the OceanWP theme, and I know it’s compatible. I have no issues editing any other page BUT the woocommerce shop page. Every other page I can load just fine but when I try and edit the shop page, I get “the preview cannot be loaded”. I’ve tried everything listed on the elementor help page apart from changing my theme because I know its not a compatibility issue.

@alphoenix you can’t edit the shop page or archive page using Elementor. It is the default Elementor behavior. If you want to customize it, then try to use the Elementor theme builder.

That does not make any sense. Woo-commerce “supposedly” fully (100%) integrated with elementor. Actually, it did work for 2 weeks.

Yes, but you need to create a shop page template using elementor theme builder to have custom shop page design.

I just got this site I’m managing. I noticed that when I install either elementor or ocean extra plugin, I get an error 500 message anytime I try to access the wp dashboard

    Hello,

Are you using Ocean Elementor Widget plugin? If yes, then update it to the latest version 1.1.7 to fix this issue.
