Hi, I seem to have trouble using elementor to create my home page, no shop pag etc, just the home page. But when I try opening the Home page with Elementor, it gives me “The preview could not be loaded” error and Go Back button. I seem to be getting this error frequently when trying to create different pages. I have tried deactivating non-essential plugins, even rolled back on the theme and the essential plugins like woocommerce and elementor. Nothing worked. I dont have that issue when using another theme. Can you please help.

    Hi there

Just a polite reminder. I did sent the information the other day, I don’t understand what went wrong at your end but the passwords are correct.

    Thank you

Hello @steeley1, can you send the message again on the ticket? Because it seems that I didn’t get it.

    Hello,

I have a major issue! My website has been live for 2 months now. With OceanWp as my theme, customized with Elementor Pro. My site seemed to be fine after the most recent WordPress update on 2/22/19 – but on Tuesday 2/26/19, I discovered that all of my content was missing from my homepage over my mobile device. I logged into my account via my desktop and my entire site was missing content. My homepage, about page, and blog post page were all gone! And I am unable to recreate them with Elementor Pro. I keep getting an error message when I click “edit with Elementor”. I’ve even tried safe mode and that is not working.

Another concern: after I discovered the missing content – and logged into my WordPress dashboard, there was a message at the top of the page, stating that I needed to import the OceanWp demo to get started creating my website. This was very confusing as my website was already fully created with a imported demo previously. I am completely clueless as to what has happened to my website.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Can you link to your site? The import demo setup wizard is the new features of OceanWP. If you have already created your site, then just click on Skip Wizard link to dismiss it.

For the other issues, did you update the theme and all the plugins to the latest version? Also, please mention the PHP version you have.

    Hello,

Thank you for responding. My site link is:

.But I currently have the “coming soon” feature back on until I can restore my site. My PHP version is: 7.0.33

I updated Elementor Pro. I don’t know how to update OceanWP.

Also, I wasn’t aware of the new wizard feature – so I clicked on it thinking it would help. But it did not. Instead, it dumped all of the demo content on top of the theme content I already had in place. Do you know how I can delete the demo file?

It can’t be reverted. You need to delete all the demo content manually. To update the oceanWP theme, go to Dashboard > Appearance > Theme and click to update OceanWP theme.

Hello, I’m having issues with this as well. Changing the permalink to plain fixes the problem but the site im building needs to have the permalinks as post names which gives me the error:

    Not Found
The requested URL /%postname%/ was not found on this server.

    Hello,

Can you share your site link here? Also, please explain the issue. I didn’t understand it clearly. Did you try to disable/enable plugin one by one to check for a possible conflict?

Hi – I am also having the same problem. Images that I add in Elementor do not show up on OceanWP or the live site – just blank spaces where the images should be. I have checked the scripts and styles, changed the permalinks to plain, and still not working. The issue is on the About page – https://www.poetsoul.ca/about-poet-soul/

    PHP version is 7.1

    Many thanks

Hello, have you contacted Elementor about this?

I have not, but have tried all of the suggestions on their help page without success.

    Hello,

Sorry for the late response. I ended up contacting Elementor directly to help resolve my issue. Very odd, but I never received an explanation to what exactly happened that caused the problem. I just went thru the steps required to give them access to my C-Panel and WordPress dashboard and then my site was back fully functional within 2 days. I would suggest contacting them.

@gracietrafford can you try to disable the Jetpack plugin temporarily? Clear cache and check it works properly or not.
