I am trying to develop an android app using webview in android studio for my website using oceanwp theme, then recently i found that while using oceanwp theme in web browser some css does not load such as it does not load bold content. My Website is loading fine in desktop browser using chrome, firefox and internet explorer But while i tried to load my website in mobile browser then i found serious css issue. In mobile chrome browser it is working fine but other than that in any other mobile browser website css is not working properly ,bold text are not displaying. I tried to load in my own developed browser, tried also in mobile UC browser, mobile opera browser but still the bold content are not loading. I thought it is only problem with my website but when i tried to open official Oceanwp website https://oceanwp.org/ then also i found the same problem that the bold content is not working in any mobile browser other than mobile chrome browser. Some of the bold text for testing purpose from the official website link is 7 Ways to Protect WordPress PDF Files .

So OceanWp Developers please fix this problem as soon as possible as mobile users are increasing day to day.

Hello, in what device are you? I tried on Galaxy on firefox and other devices on other browsers than Chrome, no problem at all, I see the texts in bold.

Sir, i did a research and found that it is problem with the android version, android 4.4 kitkat or below. I used Nox Emulator and also real samsung phone android kitkat and jellybean version. Bold content is working fine in mobile chrome and firefox and other then that still is is not working in any other android browser in android 4.4 or below.

Don’t know what is the reason but still i am quite sure that it is a css issue because when i made all my body content to bold for testing purpose using customize from normal font weight to bold, then changes took place from normal to bold text and it is working in all browser of android version below 4.4, except the strong/ bold content still did not changed. So i guess it is sure of the CSS issue.Check Screenshot below.

Hello, for a bold text, there is no css tricks, to make a text bold with css it is “font-weight: bold;”, there is no other code for it so I can do nothing about that.

Sept 16, 2018 I am having the same issue with the theme on my iphone5, the menu bars appear but when tapped they do not open the menu.
The menu should open up to a selection of pages and it doesn’t do that.
Is there any other setting for menu in iphones that can be adjusted or a drop down menu can appear which would be ideal. Thanks in advance for the help. I tried it on sites which allow you to see what your site looks like on other phones and some show more than others but the menu still does not open at all.
