    Yes you can.
The Premium version is also able to import the product attributes and variations, the customers and the orders. But you can choose to import only the products if you want.

“Do I need to keep the plugin active after the migration?

Yes. After the migration, the plugin must remain active to manage the redirections and the authentication of the users. If you don’t use these features, then you can deactivate it.”

Why do i have to keep this plugin installed in wordpress? After migration i want my new store to be independent. Let me explain step by step: first, I want to migrate all store data from OC site etual.co.rs to another temp subdomain site with WP woocommerce (for example: test1.zemzalko.co.rs). After all data migration, i want to delete old OC site on etual.co.rs with new WP woocemmerce site, to be fully active on main domain etual.co.rs .

I want to use this plugin only to migrate store data. When i finish migration, i want to activate new WP woocommerce web site on etual.co.rs. And i do not want this plugin anymore since migration process will be finished.

I do not understand why should i have to keep this plugin active since old OC site will not be available anymore?

    Thanks

Following the WordPress rules, this forum is reserved for the free version only. For any question about the Premium version, please contact the support team at https://www.fredericgilles.net/support/

If you use the free version, you can delete the plugin after the migration. It is used only during the migration.
If you use the Premium version, you need to keep the plugin active to redirect the OpenCart URLs and authenticate the users with their OpenCart passwords.

The “Gateway Timeout” error means that the connection between your browser and the WordPress server has been interrupted.
It should not prevent the import from going on.

To check if the import is going on, you can refresh the migration plugin screen to see if the number of imported data increases or not.
If it stops increasing, you can click on the button “Start / resume the import” to resume the import where it left off.
