objectcache.error: Failed to Execute ‘DUMP’ command
-
Hello!
We’re on Object Cache Pro version 1.20.2. We’ve been having issues lately with our cache not clearing and thus not updating, resulting in our editors losing their work (it’ll be backed up in revisions, at least). The error logs run about 13 lines deep in the stack trace, but they start as:
[19-Jul-2024 18:55:51 UTC] objectcache.error: Failed to execute
DUMP
command
[19-Jul-2024 18:55:51 UTC] objectcache.notice: Failed to dump analytics (RedisException: read error on connection to tcp://((ip address and port)) in (path redacted)/wp-content/plugins/object-cache-pro/src/Clients/Client.php:97
Stack trace:
#0 (path redacted)/wp-content/plugins/object-cache-pro/src/Clients/Client.php(97): Redis->dump('analytics:measu...')
#1 (path redacted)/wp-content/plugins/object-cache-pro/src/Clients/PhpRedis.php(112): RedisCachePro\Clients\Client->RedisCachePro\Clients\{closure}()
#2 (path redacted)/wp-content/plugins/object-cache-pro/src/Clients/Client.php(98): RedisCachePro\Clients\PhpRedis->newRelicCallback(Object(Closure), 'dump')Our hosting provider is insistent that our Redis server is running correctly, and I have no problem pinging the server. I’ve checked our latency, everything seems fine on that front, but there’s some disconnect that I can’t work out. I’ve confirmed it isn’t a problem with permissions for analytics. This hadn’t been an issue until the past month or two.
Thanks!
