    @kellybeth thank you for reporting this. Please share some info about your WP environment. Go to “Tools >> Site Health >> Info” and click “Copy site info to clipboard” and paste the info in your next reply.

    This is the first time someone reported an issue like this, so, I’m pretty curious to try and figure out what is happening…

    @kellybeth thank you. I’m looking at the screenshots and info you shared, and it seems like the author slug obfuscation is working just fine. Please see the obfuscated slug under the green highlights at https://www.imagebam.com/view/MEVVSSO

    If it’s not working, it would be showing the actual author slug/username, e.g. kellybeth, instead of an obfuscated string, e.g. 76fd7w8dq0x

    Otherwise, please let me know how you figured it was “not working”?
