    Meine Seite hat viele Probleme (unter anderem canonical links Fehler, die ich als Laie nicht beheben kann). Um nicht zu viel forschen zu müssen würde ich WP gern neu installieren und Schritt für Schritt, Plugin für Plugin kontrolliert neu aufsetzen, um die Fehler zu finden und zu vermeiden. Aber den jetzigen Inhalt würde ich dann gern wiederherstellen, nur ohne die alten, schadhaften Konfigurationen mit zu übernehmen. Von welchen Dateien muss ich ein Backup erstellen und von welchen nicht?

    Migrate website only

    My site has many problems (among others canonical links errors that I can’t fix as a layman). To not have to research too much I would like to reinstall WP and set it up step by step, plugin by plugin controlled, to find and avoid the errors. But the current content I would then like to restore, just without taking the old, damaged configurations with me. Which files do I need to backup and which not?

    Hi @freejan56

    Our plugin can’t fix errors if they existed before.
    There is a chance that you solve your issues by upgrading:
    – WordPress
    – Plugins
    – Themes
    – PHP Version

    You can also try to hide errors, in your wp-config.php.
    It’s not a good practice, but should do the job if all you want to do is hide the errors.

    You can share some errors, so I’d be able to understand it better.

    Hi iClyde, Thx for your reply. I am desperate. I had canonical errors found by seobility.net and i did not know how to fix it. I could not find the way in google, wp.org and other sites. So right now I deleted everything except wp-content in the server, set up WP again. But still I have two canonical link errors with the page in blank. Should I delete also wp-content or how can I fix it. I know it has nothing to do with Backup, so advice me if I should open another thread.

    Hi @iclyde,
    I just found out that the problem was the theme. I installed another one and it is solved. So thy a lot again. I close this thread as solved. Ay one that will have the same problem feel free to contact me for more details.
