• Numerous short code problems.. recurring events don’t get removed from lists….

Without dwelling into all the short code problems…

    If you have recurring events….

    And you use the shortcode….
    [eventlist categories="1,2,3" end="+3 Weeks" limit=5]

Your list gets corrupted with old events showing in the list.

Basically ALL recurring events will show in the shorcode [eventlist]

So then you have to go back and re-edit those events from showing up.

Very bad for a “calendar” List plugin.

    I just wanted to say…

That the original author Eran Miller is a champion.

But obviously this recent new “take over” of the plugin without support is certainly nothing more than SPAM of the great WordPress organization.

If you will use the “start” shortcode, the old events will not show.

    laskowv ??

Thanks for taking the time to step in and post your comments.

For me… what happens is even with the shortcode “start”… if you have regular events for a specific category, and then also recurring events same category..

The recurring events from previous dates do not get sorted out.
It appears they override the list.

For me.. the only way to sort out the old start, or a recurring event, is to go back in give it a new start date manually.

Thanks again, have a great day !

I agree… support of this plugin is now lacking with new ownership. Looks like it needs an update
