Numeric search range

    It’s a great idea. We will notify our team of this suggestion.

    As for the input type, it should only be integers for the integer type. If you are using decimals, it will still be saved, but there are some behaviours that might occur. Therefore, we would suggest you sticking with the integers ??

    Unfortunately we need to use decimals for some of the values so we’ll need to stick to text fields for those. What behaviours might occur when using decimals?

    Hi Cyril,

    I don’t know exactly what would happen using decimals; it might work perfectly or it might process the decimal numbers as text instead of as numbers or there might be some random behaviour that I can’t even think of. It’s not something we’ve really tested, and we use the basic WordPress database functions for most of the data processing, so it’s not something that we have much control over.
