    I need a shortcode or a php code to do the count of the catalog entry. I.E.

    Select count(*) from catalog_table

    Hi unfortunately that is beyond this plugin options. That would require to add some special code.

    You can check this URL, which explains what other options you can choose to display your items.

    Hi there is also a widget that you can use to display CataBlog count by categories which is very close to what you want to achieve.
