Numbering rows

Hello there,

I have a table with 700 entries. I would like to add #1, #2, etc. to the left. I’m using this table to rank the all-time top scorers in a hockey league, So I want to see what rank/place someone is in.

Then if I click sort by goals, Assists, or points.. the ranking number stays the same, doesn’t move with data…. so really just a label to the left of my table displaying row number maybe… But not including the header row
