    Hi Marcel

Thank you for this nice plugin (Dank je voor deze prima plugin)

On the homepage I want to show 3 specific entries (best entries) and for that I use the widget.
I have the choice to limit the number of words per entry from 1 tot 25.

Is it possible to have a larger number of words?
Or is it better to use a shortcode and define what I want to show. And if so is there documentation on that?

Ik zal de add-on aanschaffen, gewoon omdat ik de plugin erg bruikbaar vind. Misschien zit die optie hier in?

NB ik gebruik WP 5.0.3 en Gwolle 2.6.7

    Hi, it really is hardcoded.

How many would you want? If it reasonable, I could change the dropdown in the settings for the widget.

If you are handy with the Inspector, you can also go to the select field, and change the value from 25 to 50 or any number. The form just takes any integer value. I tested it here, it works. But you would have to do that every time you change a setting in the widget.

Oh, by the way, you can also use the shortcode as:
    [gwolle_gb_write entry_id="437"]
and it will just show entry 437. You could do that three times for all the entries.

In that second case, be aware that all settings are there for all shortcodes. So if you select to show the excerpt, that will also count for these best entries in a shortcode.

Hi Marcel, dank je voor je reactie.

I tried the shortcode. But this shows the form in which people can enter their review not the review itself. Is it the correct shortcode?
And is their a instruction on which parameters I can use in this shortcode.

I am not sure what you mean with the inspector.
There is one review I would like to show that is 110 words long. Is it not possible to have the possibility plugin be able to enter a value.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi Marcel,
I have figured it out. I found the readme.txt of the plugin and that helps.

For other users: The shortcode to show a specific entry is [gwolle_gb_read entry_id=”437″]

    This works for me.

    Dank je voor de hulp.

    Ah, good.
Sorry I pasted the wrong shortcode, it went automatically.

    Have a good week.
