Number of posts limited in Rowling theme

  • We have been using Rowling since mid 2019 and have published 1900+ articles. We are now finding that the pagination does not allow you to get past 1700 articles.

    So the first 200 articles we published are now not accessible (the earliest article showing is July 13, 2019 but the earliest article we published was about 200 articles before that on May 1, 2019).

    Is this a known limit in Rowling and does that mean we have to stop publishing more articles?

    Is there a fix for this?

    Hi @kpincott,

    Rowling uses the Core functions for outputting pagination links (get_previous_posts_link() and get_next_posts_link()) and doesn’t modify the Core queries in any way, so any issues you’re having with the pagination are likely not theme related. You can try switching to one of the default themes (like Twenty Twenty-One) to verify.

    After that, I’d try to disable any plugins you have running.
