Number of media per page settings does not work

Do you want to show 3 videos on single activity feed or on media page?

The settings which you are trying to change will change the number of media to be shown on Media Page.

wp-admin >> rtmedia >> Display >> Number of media per page – 3 So this setting will show 3 media on /media page.

wp-admin >> rtmedia >> BuddyPress >> Number of media items to show in activity stream -3 if you set this setting then you will see 3 media on single activity feed.

I changed the settings from your suggested one too ie.
wp-admin >> rtmedia >> BuddyPress >> Number of media items to show in activity stream -3
but still getting more than 3 videos in the activity.

Please check the following screenshots.

1. If in this path: wp-admin >> rtmedia >> BuddyPress >> Number of media items to show in activity stream -3 number of media to be shown in <b>single activity feed is set to 3</b>, then 3 media’s either photo/video is shown in single activity feed. 2. If in this path: wp-admin >> rtmedia >> Display >> Number of media per page – 1 number of media to be shown in <b>per page is set to 1</b> then in single page only 1 media is shown. We cross-checked and the functionality is working as expected. Please cross-check this again and let us know if still you have any queries.

Your shared screenshots do not exist. Also, We want to show fewer videos on the feed page(Max 3 – 5).. and for the same, we changed the settings but the settings does not help and in the previous message shared screenshots with you.

Please let us know if there are some gaps in our settings.

There are some misunderstandings I assume. Let me explain the scenarios.

There are 3 scenarios:

1. <site-url>/activity page: In activity page/the feed page we are showing 20 activity posts/feeds and then Load More button is shown. And this is default behaviour set from code and there is no setting to control the posts to be shown here.

2. <site-url>/activity page: In this same page in single post/feed card we can limit the media to be shown with the following setting wp-admin >> rtmedia >> BuddyPress >> Number of media items to show in activity stream. So if this is set then only those number of media will be shown in single post feed/card.

3. <site-url>/media page: In this page we can set the pagination for uploaded media with the following setting wp-admin >> rtmedia >> Display >> Number of media per page Check this visual: https://prnt.sc/1dwae35

Thanks for this explanation. I am looking for solution for case 1 i.e

Please let me know if any changes can be done in code because I do not want to load 20 videos initially.

This is default behavior of showing 20 feeds. Still I will check with my team once regarding this.

Can you please confirm on how many number of videos/activities you want to display on activity page?
