    Hello,

I am using the free version of RSS Aggregator by Feedzy.

I am using the a Feedzy RSS Feeds block to insert a feed from another website (https://blog.refak.at/tag/dimi/feed/).

    2 things:

    1. Are the Number of Items restricted to the maximum of 3?
    2. […] does not show up at the end of the descriptions. Is this something that I can activate somewhere?

Best regards and thank you in advance
    Markus

    Hello @webmark487 ,

Thank you for choosing our product!

    1. The answer is no. Your feed only contains 3 items thus Feedzy will display the maximum number of items to 3. If you switch to another feed of 10 items for example, in the feedzy settings you will see the Max Number of Items 10.

    2. I see that that is appearing at the end of your description now. Are you still encountering the issue? That appears only if it is encoded in the RSS file itself which in your case i see it appears.

    Thank you!

    Thx for your reply

    1. do I understand it right, that the Feedzy block checks the number of available feed items? and this is what it shows as a maximum number of items? What if the number of items is increasing over time?

    2. this is because I switched to shortcode implementation. With Feedzy RSS Feeds block it still does not show up.

    Hello @webmark487 ,

    1. Feedzy automatically does a refresh of the feed once every 60 minutes by default just in case the feeds get updated so the answer is yes. The number of items parameter is referring to how many items are displayed. If the XML RSS Feed file is growing then the maximum number of items should grow too.

    2. This happens because in the feed file the […] is written using HTML characters (i.e https://vertis.d.pr/uI2hGf ) thus it gets cut on the front end.For this one a workaround would be to select a number of characters to be displayed from the description part of the block settings. 200 would be ok in my opinion. Go to Block Settings -> Item Options -> Description Character Limit

Also in order to keep HTML chars you can add the code written here. You will find information on how to add it if you scroll to the top of the page.

Please let us know if this worked for you!

Thank you and have an amazing day!
