number of columns setting has no effect?

    @wvlenthe – Are you using the default (blank) template for the Thumbnail display, or would you be using the gallery.php template?

    You might also consider changing from the Default WordPress Permalinks structure to something such as “Post name” or “Month name” (although this is not likely related to the issue at hand).

    Hi Cais,

    I see that I am using gallery.php. I have now switched to (blank) and it works as it should! Thanks for pointing that out. Problem resolved.

    @wvlenthe – Glad to help. We just recently found that old NextGEN Legacy template does not work too well when the number of columns is set. We also do not recommend it in place of the default (blank) template. It is included more as a sample for end-users to create their own custom templates from if they need or want to.
